The masterminds behind Momma'z Boyz are Josh Chavez and Matt Black. Each have worked in the restaurant industry for over 25 years. Josh has worked in every facet of the food service business, while Matt is a professional cook who graduated from culinary school in 2001. Josh and Matt met in 2007 while working together, and discovered they both dreamed of owning their own business. They made the dream a reality in November of 2018 by purchasing a food trailer. Why Momma'z Boyz? Josh was raised in a multi-cultural family that loved to cook daily, and Matt grew up helping his mother cook in the kitchen. This inspired a menu that blends a love of family cooking with a twist on classic food truck fare, with unique items ranging from salads, sandwiches, wraps and the 1/2 pound cheesecake creations. They also offer an assortment of catering menu options. Momma'z Boyz joined the food truck scene in March 2019, and caters to any palette, with vegetarian and kid friendly options available.
